What information does each sanitation record capture?
Each entry records the area cleaned, the worker who did the cleaning, the chemical or cleaner used, the method, and an automatic timestamp at the moment of submission.
Is the allergen changeover log separate from the regular sanitation log?
Yes. The allergen changeover log is its own dedicated module for documenting the cleaning steps performed when switching between products with different allergen profiles. Each step in the changeover sequence is recorded with a timestamp and worker name.
What if a sanitation step was missed and needs to be corrected?
A manager can void the incorrect record using a Manager PIN and log a reason. The original entry is preserved with a Voided status — it stays visible in the record for audit purposes. You can also log a corrective action documenting what was done to address the missed step.
Can the app document that cleaning actually happened?
FoodSafetyLogger records that a worker logged a cleaning task, when they logged it, and what they entered. It does not verify that surfaces were actually cleaned or are pathogen-free. That confirmation is part of your sanitation program — FoodSafetyLogger helps you document the record.
Can Spanish-speaking workers use the sanitation log?
